Benjamin started his pastry chef training at the age of 15. His first role was at Arnold's Swiss Cakes were he learnt the art of pastry using artisan techniques and quality ingredients.
After qualifying Benjamin moved to Laurent's, widely considered as the industry benchmark. Within six months Benjamin became Head Night Chef, which he held for 3 years.
In 2002 Benjamin realised his aspiration to open his own high quality and friendly patisserie in Ivanhoe. Benjamin's reputation and that of his artisan outlet has become the hub for great people to gather, enjoying great products and the highest level of service.
